The Animal School
This satire was very interesting to read because it was relatable to high school and college. It was trying to make a point that not everyone is good at everything by over exaggerating the way the animals were forced to be at least average at every course offered. For example, they made the duck drop out of swimming and stay after school just to become average at running. I think this is ridiculous if that actually happened in real life school. Not everyone can be good at everything and they shouldn't have to be. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and should be able to show their strengths. I am very good at science and math, but very bad in history and English. There is a reason I chose to be a biology major; because that is what I am good at.

I found this video satire to also be pretty relatable. The video was very funny because it stereotyped all of college, however, it was not very accurate. It was obvious that the video was intended for students to see because parents would not want to know what their children actually do at college without telling them. Although some of the points made in the commercial were true, they were taken too far to make them not as real as they are in real colleges. Yes, most people party a lot and hang out with people just like them, but that doesn't represent the whole college population accurately. The video did a good job of taking the jokes to the extreme to prove a point that college isn't as ridiculous as some people may think.
